The smoker gnomes by DWU are manufactured in Aue in the Ore Mountains out of regional wood such as pine, ash or beech. Their trademark is the very special beard. Please note that due to the fact that the the beard is made of natural fur the color of the beard will be gray or brown or in between. Also the color will not necessarily be the same as shown on the picture.

The Ore Gnome series is dedicated to the regional mining tradition and shows different work steps of historic mining. 

The furnace next to the smoker figurine is a functional smoking stove.
