The “Spielett” is a music box that can be equipped either with a Christmas Tree stand or with a platform for decoration and candles. Inspired by historic Christmas Tree stands with integrated music boxes, Jürgen Huss has continued the concept and refined it.

The Spielett contains a Swiss music mechanism with the melody “Silent Night”, as well as modern electronics with a USB port, which enables you to play any music of your own choice with steplessly adjustable volume. The turning movement of the platform is also powered electronically. Music and rotation can be switched on and off independently of each other.

For the use as a Christmas Tree stand a top with a tree holder is contained in delivery, as well as gimlets for preparing the trunk. Alternatively you can top the music box with the included wooden platform and equip it with decoration of your choice, optionally using these contained accessories:

• eight candle holders that fit into the holes on the platform,
• an extension that can be mounted sideways, for example to represent a stylized stable as a background for a Nativity set,
• a Herrnhuter Moravian Miniature Star including  illumination and suspension device that can be attached to the extension.

You can utilize these elements for your individual ideas, for example to fashion the Spielett as an Advent wreath or with your Nativity set, but also for plenty other occasions like putting up birthday candles.

The Spielett comes in an elegant wooden box which also makes a beautiful base for the precious piece.
